The establishment of the Nepali Christian Church Aldershot was in the year 2007. This congregation is a local church of the united body of Christ. The head of this body is Christ Himself (Colossians 1:18). It is a spiritual and organizational structure.
The Nepali Christian Church Aldershot is a local, independent, and non-denominational congregation based on the teachings of the living word (the Bible), believing in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the Triune God.
Statement of Faith
1. A true, holy, and almighty God, who is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the Triune God.
2. His love, grace, and sovereignty, by which He created, sustains, reigns, redeems, and brings justice to the world.
3. The Holy Bible, which is the inspired scripture of God, useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteous living.
4. The Lord Jesus Christ, who came into the world in human form. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and was without sin.
5. The sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus Christ to redeem humanity from sin. He became sin on our behalf, died on the cross, and triumphed over death and sin, reconciling us with God the Father.
6. The resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the first fruits of those who have died. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father, serving as the mediator between God and humanity.
7. We believe that only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and the grace of God the Father can sinful humanity receive salvation.
8. The Holy Spirit, who empowers us to serve the Lord, convicts us of sin, reconciles us with Christ through the new birth, and helps us become powerful witnesses in discipleship.
9. The holy universal church and the fellowship of the saints.
10. The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will return to judge the living and the dead and will create a new heaven and a new earth.
