25th May 2025

The annual NCCUK Youth Camp was successfully held at Yarnfield Park Training & Conference Centre, located approximately 150 miles away from London. This year, more than 120 young participants from 27 churches across the UK came together for a three days spiritual growth, fellowship, and fun.

NCCUL Youth Coordinator Elder Anil Thapa, representing the NCCUK Trustee Board, coordinated the camp with dedication and excellence. He was supported by four trustee members Chairman Ps James Lingden, Vice Chairman Eld Tanka Rai, General Secretary Eld Deb Gurung, Treasure Eld Mekh Thapa, Ex NCCUK Youth Leader Ps John Sunwar and  regional chairman,as well as four regional youth chairs, who were also present throughout the camp.

Upon arrival, Elder Anil Thapa, along with the Trustee Board, warmly welcomed all youth and parent members. And Eld Anil Thapa provided a detailed briefing on the terms and conditions of Yarnfield Park Training & Conference Centre, including information on the location, health and safety protocols, schedule, and food menu.

NCCUK has chosen Yarnfield Park as the designated venue for this much-anticipated summer camp, offering an unforgettable experience year after year. The event was packed with both indoor and outdoor activities, including team-building exercises, spiritual workshops, and meaningful discussions designed to inspire and uplift.

All young guys (Campers) took part in various creative and devotional activities such as biblical drama, dancing, singing, poetry, and group devotionals. A standout feature of the camp was the leadership workshop led by Elder Anil Thapa, who brought in a range of internal and external Bible teachers, pastors, elders and share to deeper then deeper. These sessions empowered the youth to grow in confidence, leadership, and spiritual maturity.

The camp provided a valuable opportunity for young people to unplug from digital distractions, build lasting friendships, and deepen their relationship with God and one another.

According to Elder Anil Thapa, this year’s summer camp is intended to be more extraordinary. Our primary focus is on the spiritual aspects of the camp, rather than on food and logistical arrangements.

At the end of the final session, Elder Anil Thapa extended his sincere gratitude to all the volunteers, parents, and leaders whose dedication and hard work made the event a success. Following this, group photographs were taken, and before departing the campsite, NCCUK Chair Pastor James Lingden offered a benediction and thank prayer.
